Each house is uniquely hand-crafted with love and attention to detail.
No two are alike.
Color, color everywhere!
Features include a predator guard with copper topper accent, sparrow spooker roof, and a metal mounting bracket.
Every house comes with a sturdy, metal mounting bracket to ensure safe mounting to a pole, as well as provide versatility of house placement during nesting season.
Every house is equipped with a predator guard and copper topper accent. The guard deters predators from entering the house while the copper topper accent protects other bird species from attempting to peck and make the hole larger to accommodate their nesting needs.
The decorative, fun, whimsical roof serves a dual purpose as a sparrow spooker. The bluebird's arch enemy sparrow will be deterred by the movement of the roof ~ keeping bluebird family safe and sound from unwanted invaders.
Every house has a screen piece on the inside of the door to aid babies when time to leave the nest.
"As long as there are bluebirds, there will be miracles and a way to find happiness." ~Shirl Brunnel, I Hear Bluebirds, 1984
"The bluebird is a symbol of hope, love and renewal and is part of many Native American legends. The Bluebird is a bird that symbolizes the essence of life and beauty. Dreaming of bluebirds often represents happiness, joy, fulfillment, hope, prosperity and good luck."
"All bluebirders must feel like 'one of the chosen ones' when we are fortunate to have nesting bluebirds on our own property."
~ Lillian Lund, Sialia, 1984
